Gadkari Remains in Bastion Nagpur, BJP Retains Goyal, Thakur, Khattar in 2nd List

Nagpur: The BJP has named Nitin Gadkari as its candidate for the Lok Sabha elections in Nagpur, despite not being on the initial list. Gadkari received a warm welcome upon his arrival in Nagpur, with workers celebrating his candidature with music and enthusiasm. This marks Gadkari's third time being fielded by the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. His announcement brought joy to party workers, who greeted him at the airport with DJs, drums, and garlands. Gadkari acknowledged the greetings by waving his hand, and he was accompanied by his family. The event signifies the party's confidence in Gadkari's leadership and popularity in Nagpur.

 

In the second list of the BJP's Lok Sabha candidates, several prominent names have appeared, like Piyush Goyal, Anurag Thakur, Manohar Lal Khattar, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, and Pralhad Joshi. 

In Delhi, the BJP has nominated two fresh candidates: Harsh Malhotra for the East Delhi constituency and Yogendra Chandolia for North West Delhi. In Karnataka, the party is introducing approximately 10 new candidates. Among the prominent figures are Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, who will contest from Dharwad, and BY Raghavendra, son of former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, who will fight from Shimoga constituency. Tejasvi Surya and PC Mohan will continue to fight from their bases in Bengaluru South and Bengaluru Central.
