BJP Releases White Paper on Congress, PM Modi Takes Jibe at Congress

Addressing party workers in the National Council of BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday pointed to the example of inadequate infrastructural development in the North East during the Congress's time in power, suggesting that the opposition didn't prioritise the region due to its fewer parliamentary seats.

In the party's annual council, which included approximately 11,500 party workers ranging from grassroots panchayats to the highest echelons of parliament, Prime Minister Modi eloquently declared that the time has arrived to reshape the destiny of our nation.

"No one is away from us. What once used to be the last village of the country has appeared to be the first village of the country. Some ministers spent even nights in those villages in minus 15 degree,"

PM said on Sunday in the presence of over 11,000 party workers, including Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and JP Nadda, the national president of the party.
