In Party Council, Modi Cites Kashmir, BJP to Cross 370 Seats in Poll

New Delhi: On the inaugural day of BJP's two-day long grand annual National Council meeting in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that BJP would cross 370 seats in the upcoming general election. Addressing on Saturday, PM Modi mentioned the number "370" with a reference to his party's defiant decision to abrogate Article 370 in Kashmir and Shyama Prasad Mookherjee, the key ideologue of BJP. BJP, which won 282 seats in the 2014 election and 303 seats in the 2019 election, already revealed their expectation that the NDA alliance would cross 400 seats in the 2024 election.
