13-year-old Milan offered Louis Vuitton internship based on sketches shared on social media

A teenager's dream internship at the French luxury brand Louis Vuitton was recently awarded to him after some of his sketches went viral on social media. According to a Rolling Stone article, 13-year-old Milan drew sketches of shoes, heels, and outfits that were all influenced by the brand. To possibly land Milan a job with the company, his mother, Louise Odessa, from Paris, posted images of his drawings on X (formerly Twitter). His sketches include chic items bearing the brand's monogram. A drawing of a high-top Louis Vuitton sneaker was included. The sketches also featured a women's clothing design, a tracksuit, and high-heeled shoes.

The teen's mother stated that her son is "a little bit, a lot, passionate about your brand and leather" and that she has never witnessed him acting "amazed" upon learning about Louis Vuitton's background. "I have to find my 13-year-old son Milan a third-year internship immediately, and not just any house. Hi there, @LouisVuitton My son has a slight but strong passion for leather and your brand. In November, she wrote, "He intends to pursue a professional baccalaureate and bts in fashion professions. He is also very good at Photoshop on a graphics tablet for his creations."

He was extremely knowledgeable about Louis Vuitton's partnerships and history, and I have never seen him more amazed than the day he showed me your exhibition in front of the Samaritaine. Please let me know how to proceed, or grant him permission for a brief one-week observation course. It's his birthday on December 14th. Kindly, kindly, kindly," Ms. Odessa said.

Milan discussed the experience with the French news organization BFMTV after the internship was over. After two days, he said, "I felt more at ease there than at school. I really felt at home in my community. It's mystical. It's the start of life for me." He went on to say that he designed a briefcase and made sketches of Louis Vuitton's vision.
