On Wednesday, Nestle India announced an interim dividend of Rs 27 per equity share for the year 2023 on the whole 9,64,15,716 equity shares of the company's issued, subscribed, and paid-up share capital, each with a nominal value of Rs 10.
The FMCG giant has set April 21, 2023, as the record date to assess whether stockholders are eligible to receive the mentioned interim dividend.
Nestle India has declared 66 dividends since May 31, 2001, according to data on Trendlyne. The FMCG giant has issued equity dividends of Rs 210 per share over the last 12 months. According to Trendlyne statistics, at the current share price of Rs 19525.55, this yields a dividend yield of 1.08%.
"Interim Dividend for the year 2023 will be paid on and from May 8, 2023, along with the final dividend for the year 2022, if approved, by the members at the 64th Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on 12th April 2023," the company said in a filing to exchanges.
Nestle is likely to announce its results for the Jan-March Quarter on 25th April 2023.
