Senior Vice-President and General Manager Amichai Ron and Vice-President and Head of Global Government Relations Stephen Bonner from Texas Instruments met with Patil. Officials from the Department of Commerce and Industries were also present. The meeting focused on Research and Development efforts in Analog and Embedded Semiconductors, possibly expanding to the Whitefield semiconductor park.

The government delegation's visit to the United States includes discussions on making it easier for businesses to invest. They also visited a manufacturing site at Texas Instruments as part of their 12-day tour, which aims to attract investment to the state. The tour will end on October 6.
