The 10,000 Krispy Kreme doughnuts Heist - An Australian woman's Strange Crime

A 28-year-old woman from Australia was arrested on Thursday for allegedly stealing a parked truck loaded with 10,000 Krispy Kreme doughnuts. According to the New South Wales police, the unmarked delivery truck had stopped for fuel near Sydney on November 29 when the woman sneaked in and drove away with the delicious treats. Detectives traced a path of breadcrumbs leading to a suburban parking lot, where they discovered the deserted car over a week later. The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, was apprehended by officers at St Marys Railway Station around 11:00 am on Thursday. According to the police, she has been charged with offences including "unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving while disqualified, and travelling without a valid ticket or attempting to do so."

The woman was denied bail and made an appearance in court on Thursday.

Police stated that the spoiled doughnuts  were "destroyed."According to the BBC, Krispy Kreme informed the police about the incident and assured customers that they were "taking steps to replace the 10,000 stolen doughnuts."

In September, a Krispy Kreme doughnut van parked outside a convenience store on an Alaska military base became the target of an unusual heist, which was captured on camera. Two bears, located over 7,000 miles away from the previous incident, raided the truck during its delivery route.
