On May 6, 2023, a shooting occurred at a mall in Texas, claiming the lives of nine individuals, including Aishwarya, a 27-year-old woman from Hyderabad. Aishwarya, who was shopping with her friends at the Allen Premium Outlets mall in Texas, was the daughter of Additional District Judge Tatikonda Narsireddy, presently serving at the Ranga Reddy District Commercial Courts complex. During the shooting incident, the perpetrator fired at a crowded mall, resulting in the deaths of at least eight individuals.

However, a police officer eventually killed the shooter. The attack began at approximately 3:30 pm on Saturday, prompting shoppers to panic and evacuate the premises. Several videos recorded shoppers fleeing the mall while employees sought refuge in storage areas upon hearing gunshots. According to witnesses, some individuals took shelter for up to two hours as law enforcement cleared the extensive complex. Governor Greg Abbott described the shooting as an "unspeakable tragedy" and assured that the state was prepared to provide any necessary aid to local authorities. The White House stated that President Biden had been informed about the shooting and extended his support to the local officials.
