The airport at Pskov in western Russia has faced drone attacks which has led to serious damages.
Regional governor Mikhail Vedernikov stated "The defense ministry is repelling a drone attack in Pskov's airport,"
TASS news agency stated that the airspace above the said airport has been closed by authorities. They also shared, "As a result of the drone attack, four Il-76 aircraft were damaged. A fire broke out and two planes burst into flames," By the pictures and videos shared on social media and Russian news we can see a thick black cloud of smoke rising over the airport.
Pskov is situated 800km from the Ukranina border and it is also near EU states Estonia and Latvia.
