According to a statement from the Senate, the Pakistani Senate has approved a resolution that will help women have access to new digital skills.
The Senate, Pakistan's upper house of Parliament, recommended the government to prioritise women's education in information and communication technology and allotted specific funds for women's digital empowerment.
According to Xinhua news agency, the resolution emphasised that involving women in technology leads to more innovative solutions and has a larger potential for breakthroughs that serve women's interests and promote gender equality.
