India has agreed to send humanitarian aid, including school buses, to Ukraine in response to a letter from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The letter was delivered to Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, during a visit by Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzhaparova to India. The two sides discussed various issues of mutual interest, including bilateral and international topics, and expressed their desire to deepen cooperation in fields such as culture.
The Ministry of External Affairs announced that the next Inter-Governmental Commission between India and Kyiv would be held in India and that the next round of Foreign Office Consultations would be held in Kyiv at a later date. Dzhaparova expressed her appreciation for India's support on Twitter and emphasized Ukraine's desire to build a closer relationship with India.
