The final of the children's demands was seen being fulfilled by a person dressed as the Easter Bunny.

Almost a thousand messages were received from abroad, hailing from 40 different nations, including Australia and Brazil. Due to the war at home, Ukrainian youngsters who were forced to flee to Germany also wrote to the Easter Bunny. The sum is actually 10,000 less than last year's total and much below the top of 100,000 in 2021 when the coronavirus pandemic was at its peak.

The Head of the Easter Post Office, Doris Kröger, said, "With every letter, I see the children's eyes light up when they find the answer in the letterbox."
