WFI Chief Brij Bhushan Singh ready for narco test but with a condition

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, a BJP lawmaker who has been accused of sexual harassment by wrestlers, declared on Sunday (May 21) that he is ready to take a polygraph, narco, and lie detector test.

The news came after the Sarv Khap Panchayat in Meham, Haryana's Rohtak district, asked that the head of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) take a "lie-detector narco test" and pass without incident.

I'm prepared for narcotics, polygraph, and lie detector examinations, said Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Facebook. Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia, two wrestlers, must also pass these examinations; however, I do have a requirement. They can decide if they're prepared for these tests and invite the media. In order to reassure them, I want to say that I am equally prepared for these tests.

"I stand by my words to this day and want to assure my countrymen that I will continue to do so in the future as well," the BJP lawmaker from Kaiserganj said. Renowned Indian wrestler Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has been accused of harassing female wrestlers by Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat, and Bajrang Punia. The wrestlers are advocating for the ouster of the BJP MP from his role as WFI president during a protest against him at Jantar Mantar.
