Mumbai City has launched the first ever mobile pet cremation van in Borivali. This van will be active in Dahisar, Borivali, Kandivali and nearby regions. There are only 2 crematories for pets in Parel and Bhayandar. This lack of facilities or facilities in very remote areas makes it difficult for pet owners to give a dignified funeral to their beloved pets.
The idea behind starting this van is to give a compassionate funeral to pets as well as stray dogs and other animals. This facility should start all over the city. This van will be stationed near the Pet Park, IC colony, Borivali.
Cremation of stray animals will be free of cost. But pet owners have to pay a specific amount as this amount will be used for maintenance of van and diesel costs.
Pet owners can simply bring a pet carcass to the spot or a van can travel to the housing colony, but for that matter, no objection certificate is necessary.
This is indeed a good initiative to respect the feelings of animal lovers and pet owners.
