On June 20, a driving school instructor sexually assaulted a 19-year-old girl close to the railway station in Jogeshwari, Mumbai.
The suspect, who owns the driving school, is accused of taking the victim, who was a student there, and sexually assaulting her on the pretense of teaching her how to drive.
Later, when the girl narrated the incident to her family, they filed an FIR with the police department in Borivali. The suspect was taken into custody by police and held for a day. He was then brought before the court, where he was granted bail.
According to the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, the GRP Police has filed a molestation case against the accused.
