Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation-MSRTC, bus engaged in a terrible accident on 12.07.23, Wednesday, near Saptashrungi Ghat section, Karnataka.The bus uncontrollably into a deep gorge, taking the lives of a woman and 19 people were severely injured in this accident.
The bus was arriving from Khamgaon, in the route of this ghat section, when the driver lost his steering control and the bus fell into a 150 ft deep gorge at 5.45 am on Wednesday. Residents, ambulance life support and police rushed to the spot and rescued the people, which has helped to minimize the deaths and casualties.
All the injured people were given first aid and immediate care at the state-run hospital and the situation was brought into control.
