Considering the safety of aircraft, Mumbai police have banned the flying of any object like paragliding or light-emitting objects in the free flight zone near Mumbai airport. According to the order of police, it’s not allowed to fly kites, balloons, lasers, or high-rising crackers in areas near airports from June 23 to August 21.

There were efforts to cause danger to the safe operation of aircraft, like safe landing, takeoff and flying in a free flight zone near Juhu airdrome, Naval air station IND Shikra and airport by paragliders, laser, flying kites etc.

Due to such objects, it becomes a danger to carry out aircraft operations. The police have warned everyone to inform police if they see any kind of activities being done to create difficulty to flight operations.
