Vygr Karnataka: The Bengaluru Metro Pink Line set to launch soon

The Bangalore Pink Metro line between Nagawara and Kalena Agrahara is about to complete its work and is set to launch in December 2024. This 21.25 km line which goes from Outer Link Road and Bannerghatta Road will help to control the traffic in a very good way.

43 out of 251 segmental spans are yet to be done. Work on the elevated stretch is also up speed and soon it will be complete.  Also, the tracks will be on route by this October.

The work of the underground stations has been divided into 4 contracts by Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. Shivajinagar to Pottery Town (RT 03) and Tannery Road to Nagawara  (RT 04) are done with tunneling work given to Larsen and Toubro Limited. Dairy Circle to Vellara Junction (RT 01) was contracted to AFCONS Ltd.; its 78% tunneling work has been done. On RT 02 Vellara to Shhivajinagar, tunneling work is still going on between Venkateshpura and KG Hills. Langford station, which is 75ft deep, is constructed in a unique way.

In the four different segments, work for Bangalore Pink Metro will take a final look soon.
