Goa Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant has announced that the state's tourism aspect will widen, as the G20 plan declared a Goa roadmap project. He has demanded that the MPA, Mormugao Port Authority which is currently involved only in import and export duties, should now be actively taking part in the tourism sector too.
He has mentioned that “This is a big event for Goans and a great achievement for the state too. I am hopeful of Goa getting the benefits of the G20 meet in the long run”. In the 4th annual G20 meet, the tourism working group has given assurance to promote the roadmap for sustainable tourism in Goa.
Goa is the most sought-after destination for tourists across the world. Goa is celebrated for its aesthetic lush green scenery, ample beaches, vibrant culture, amusing nightlife, cruise parties and so on. Hence further attention towards that will enhance Goa’s economy and value.
