A video clip showing a man masturbating inside a Delhi Metro compartment has gone viral on social media. Despite the presence of a female passenger next to him, the man continued his lewd act. The video drew strong criticism on Twitter, with many condemning the man's behavior in public.
Swati Maliwal, the chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women, expressed her disgust at the video and issued a notice to the Delhi Police and Delhi Metro to take strict action against the perpetrator. This is not the first instance of public masturbation in India, as in 2020, a police officer in Uttar Pradesh was suspended for masturbating in front of a woman in a police station in Deoria.
