UP ropes NDDB to support three women-owned milk producer companies

The National Dairy Development Service has its own subsidiary called NDDB dairy service, made an announcement on 19 May to provide technical support to the UP government, the leading second milk producing state for establishing 3 women-owned dairies in the state. This activity is part of MSY (Mahila Samarthya Yojana) and UPSRLM (Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission. With the help of NSD, it is aimed to bring entrepreneurial qualities to women and, by that means, improve their lifestyle. 

Three women's milk producing companies - Saamarthya Milk Producer Company, Shri Baba Gorakhnath Kripa Milk Producer Company, Gorakhpur and Shrijanee Milk Producer Company are set to produce about 7 lakh litres of milk per day by fifth year, involving 1.50 lakh women and 2800 villages of 17 district. URSRLM director C Indumathy has the goal of bringing favourable changes to the lives of women behind this project. 

Along with the success of these dairy outlets, the MSY of the UP government will reach the next level.
