After the most formidable and largest train accident happened in Odisha, another train accident was adverted. On June 6, Tuesday, a tractor dashed against the gate of a railway crossing in Bokaro, Jharkhand. In the evening around 5 pm when the New Delhi – Bhubaneshwar Rajdhani express was passing from there, a tractor got stuck between the railway track and the gate.
The tractor headed into collision with the gate near the Santhaldih railway crossing. It was the time the Rajdhani express was passing from there but the motorman showed his presence of mind and out emergency braking. Due to the motorman showing quickness in the activity, another big accident which was bound to happen got avoided.
A tractor driver ran right after the incident from the place. An FIR has been registered against him and his vehicle has been seized. The gateman was suspended by the authorities.
