Teen brutally stabs and dances by 18-yr-old's body

In very unsettling security footage, a younger teen can be seen dancing near the dead after stabbing an 18-year-old dozens of times on a Delhi street on Tuesday night. The intention behind the murder is said to be to steal money so that he could buy Biryani.

Police stated that the killing spree, allegedly for ₹ 350, occurred in the Welcome region in northeast Delhi. The teenage attacker was seen on CCTV tape stabbing the victim and, at one point, dancing while standing over the corpse. He is said to have stabbed the victim more than 60 times.

The police say that robbery was the driving force for the murder. The victim was repeatedly stabbed by the accused after he made him unconscious by strangling him.

The police said that the two didn't seem to know one another. The 16-year-old suspect in the murder is said to have robbed the young man; when he resisted, he was attacked.

The accused teen was seen on CCTV pulling a body out into a little alleyway. He then can be seen repeatedly stabbing the victim in the neck so as to confirm his death. He continues by giving the head several kicks. Then, in a gruesome move that was captured on camera, he stands over the dead body and starts to dance.

"On Tuesday, a PCR call was received at around 11.15 pm that a youth, aged around 18 years, was stabbed to death by a minor in a bid to rob him in Janta Mazdoor colony in Welcome area," Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Joy Tirkey said. "The victim was rushed to a hospital but he was declared dead," he added.

The culprit was located and taken into custody by the police. He was accused of robbing the victim, who is still unidentified, of ₹ 350. The scene has been examined by a forensic team, and the police are reviewing CCTV evidence. According to police sources, the teenager who is currently being charged with murder was also involved in another murder case in 2022. Robbery was the motivation for the previous incident as well.

The accused is allegedly a member of a group consisting of three to four young people who have committed several violent crimes, according to the police. The accused stated during interrogation that he had been under the influence of intoxicants when he committed the recent murder.
