Mumbai Goa travel time will reduce soon as CSMT to Madgaon Vande Bharat express will run on the route from June. On Tuesday, there was a test drive of Vande Bharat on the Goa route which took little more than 8 hours. But this express will cut a total of 45 minutes of travel. The Tejas express which goes from CSMT to Madgaon takes a total of 8 hours 40 minutes, but Vande Bharat will run at a speed of 160 km/h to cover the distance.
The train will depart from CSMT at 6 am in the morning, reaching a destination around noon so that it can return to CSMT by midnight. Express has a total of 16 AC coaches, from which 2 are executive class coaches. These two coaches have 180 degree rotating seats and smart screens in every coach for information and entertainment.
This is the fourth Vande Bharat express from Mumbai which helps passengers to save travel time. It will be there for passengers from next month.
