Satyendar Jain, a leader of the Aam Aadmi Party was admitted to the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital on Thursday, May 25, 2023, after collapsing in Tihar Jail from dizziness, according to the party. He was a former Delhi minister who has been detained in connection with a money laundering case.
He is being detained by the Enforcement Directorate since May in connection with a money laundering case, Jain has been jailed.
"Satyendar Jain has been admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. He collapsed due to dizziness in the bathroom of Tihar Jail. Even before this, Satyendar Jain had fallen in the bathroom and had a serious spinal injury," the Aam Aadmi Party said.
Jain was rushed to the Safdarjung Hospital on Monday because he felt sick.
