Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Gujarat for a two-day event in honor of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on the occation of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 149th birth anniversary.
Inauguration of Projects Worth Rs 280 Crore
PM Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stone of projects totaling over Rs 280 crore. It include a 1.5-kilometer walkway linking the parking area to the SoU and a trauma center in Ekta Nagar designed for emergency services. Additionally, PM Modi will be attending various events and Deepotsav near Narmada River and Statue of Unity (SoU). PM will also lay the foundation stone of the Museum of Royal Kingdoms which is also located near Kevadia. This museum will capture the history of the princely states that joined the Indian Union during Partition in 1947.
Aarambh Conclave
On Wednesday evening, the Prime Minister will address the sixth "Aarambh Conclave" for Officer Trainees of 16 civil services of India and 3 civil services of Bhutan from the 99th Common Foundation Course. This year’s theme is “Roadmap for Atma Nirbhar and Viksit Bharat,” which includes participation from 653 Officer Trainees representing 16 Indian civil services.
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade and Cultural Events
PM Modi will lead the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas parade which will have contingents of nine states including one Union Territory police and four Central Armed Police Forces on October 31. The special attractions are "Hell March" show by Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bikers and martial arts experts.The show will also include "Surya Kiran" flypast by Indian Air Force.
