Big changes are coming to Maharashtra's local transport and daily commute! 

The Maharashtra government has announced that all auto-rickshaw and taxi drivers must clear a functional Marathi language test by August 16th.

Drivers who fail to pass could face permit cancellation! To support them, the state has deployed 450 teachers to provide practical language training ahead of the deadline.

In another major move for commuters, Bike Taxis will officially launch across the state from August 1st! The new regulations introduce strict domicile requirements for riders and push for the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).
