All the protesting wrestlers got one more support when President of the Indian Olympic Association and athlete P T Usha reversed her statement on 'tarnishing India's image'. Earlier, P T Usha made a statement that "this is negative publicity for the country, such protests are harmful for India's image and we should not support them going against the law". But when she went to Jantar Mantar, talked to all the wrestlers, she changed her statement and showed massive support to them.
Wrestlers said, "she was misquoted and her intention wasn't to hurt us. But now we are glad that she came. Also, she is feeling bad for us that instead of practice, we have to sit here and protest." Wrestlers did ask her to raise their point in Rajyasabha as soon as possible.
