Only representation as MP of Congress from Maharashtra, Balu Dhanorkar's death

The only Loksabha MP from Maharashtra, Chandrapur constituency, Balu Dhanorkar, passed away on Tuesday, 30th May. He had an operation on a kidney stone in Nagpur hospital. But due to an emergency, he was airlifted to Delhi. There, at Medanta Hospital, he lost his life as he was in very critical condition.

He was just 48 and has 2 sons and a wife who is an MLA from Warora- Bhadravati. Just 3 days ago, his father Narayan Dhanorkar died in Nagpur. He couldn’t even attend his funeral. He had good leadership qualities and he was indeed known for his helping nature. Many Congress leaders expressed their grief, including party chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Ajit Pawar and Ashok Chavan.

His death was a really shocking and tragic incident for his family as well as all the party members. Now his body is at his home in Warora and last rites will be performed today, on 31st May.
