C20 Inception Conference taking place in Nagpur, Maharashtra, from today, i.e, March 20 to 23. More than 200 foreign delegates from civic organizations and NGOs are to attend.
The event's goal, according to Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, vice chair of Rambhau Mhalgi Probodhini and supporter of the CIVIL20 India secretariat, is to present the viewpoint of civil society, non-governmental organizations, and the development sector in G20 countries. The event, which is taking place in the Press Club here, is one of many that are being organized around the country. Spiritual leader Mata Amritanandmayi is the C20 India chair, and the Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini has taken responsibility for the secretariat.
"The inception conference will discuss the work done by Civil20 in the last few months. A total of 14 themes have been selected, which will be discussed in different sessions. The final meeting of Civil 20 will take place in the last week of July, after which a policy pack will be released and given to the G20," Vinay Sahasrabuddhe explained.
He added by saying that the themes include education, sustainable development, health, environment, technology, art and craft, democracy, and human rights.
