Fake Trading App Scam Leaves Investors at Risk of Losing ₹10 Lakh+ 🚨📱

A suspected stock market investment scam has come to light in Barwaha, Khargone, Madhya Pradesh.

According to police, fraudsters added victims to a WhatsApp group, shared fake profit screenshots and convinced them to install a dummy trading app.

The app showed their investments and profits increasing, but when they tried to withdraw the money, they were reportedly asked to pay additional charges such as service fees and taxes.

Following a complaint, Barwaha Police conducted a technical investigation and arrested three suspects from Gujarat. Police said the defrauded amount was recovered.
