MP and Rajasthan to face heavy rains over the next couple of days

According to the weather office, as the monsoon season approaches the state, several parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh experienced a decrease in temperature due to light to moderate rain on Sunday. Signalling the arrival of the monsoon in Madhya Pradesh, almost half of the state experienced rain on Friday, bringing joy to the residents. Similar weather conditions are expected to continue over the weekend. Senior meteorologist HS Pandey stated that the state, including the capital Bhopal, will witness a period of rain on Saturday. Areas such as Raisen, Sehore, Guna, Sheopurkalan, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Satna, and Anuppur could experience heavy rainfall on Sunday.

 According to a spokesperson from the weather department, certain areas in east Rajasthan can expect the monsoon to arrive by the middle of the week. Over the next three days, heavy rainfall is anticipated in a few locations of Kota, Udaipur, and southeastern Rajasthan, while light to moderate rain is predicted for the northern regions of western Rajasthan. Based on weather data, Ganganagar experienced scorching temperatures of 43.9 degrees Celsius on Saturday, making it the hottest place in western Rajasthan. In the eastern region, Fatehpur recorded the highest temperature at 41.3 degrees Celsius. Other notable high temperatures included Churu at 42.2 degrees Celsius, Sangaria in Hanumangarh at 42.1 degrees Celsius, and Bikaner at 41 degrees Celsius.
