After the major train tragedy the country faced this month, passengers traveling by train are quite scared and alert at the same time. When everything was getting normal, suddenly a fire on a train yesterday was a kind of panic situation for the passengers travelling in it. In Odisha, Naupada district, the coach of Durg Puri express caught fire on Thursday, 8th June.
There was smoke detected on the B3 coach of express near Khariar station. It was due to the continuous friction of brakes. The fire was confined and no injuries happened. Railway personnel solved the problem within an hour and the train departed from Khariar station at 11pm. But in the first instance, passengers panicked and handling them in the situation was most important.
