🔥 Bhopal: Massive Fire Engulfs 8 Buses at ISBT, ₹5 Crore Loss Feared!

A massive fire broke out at Bhopal's Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) on October 25, damaging eight parked buses belonging to Verma Travels.

The blaze reportedly started in one bus before rapidly spreading to nearby vehicles. Firefighters battled the flames for nearly an hour before bringing the situation under control.

Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported, as the affected buses were empty. The bus operator has estimated losses of ₹4–5 crore.

Police are examining CCTV footage to determine the cause of the fire, with electrical faults and possible foul play among the angles under investigation.

The incident has renewed concerns about fire safety measures, emergency preparedness and accountability at busy transport terminals.

The big question: Are our bus terminals prepared to prevent such disasters?
