The 'Har Ghar Camera' campaign by Lucknow police department is a prominent step to curb crime in the city. Lucknow joint commissioner approved people and asked them to install CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) cameras at their house premises so that it will help to control the crime rate.
Police appealed to not only residents but corporates, public representatives, shopkeepers and prominent citizens to install CCTV outside their places. Some important places like crossings, public gathering places, important roads will be linked with concerned police stations by CCTV. Police undertake checking at some sensitive places and routes to make law and order strong enough and to curb crime.
Lucknow police set a reward for those who will follow the 'Har Ghar Campaign' prominently.
