Anger is mounting among farmers in Khargone over land acquisition for the National Highway 347B project.

The Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Mahasangh has issued a stern warning to the administration: provide four times the compensation under the new law, or face a district-wide movement that will bring highway work to a complete standstill. 🚫🚜

A memorandum has been submitted to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, highlighting that while the state government amended the land acquisition law on April 24, 2026, to increase compensation from two times to four times, local officials are still sticking to old rates.

This administrative lapse is causing massive financial losses to the farming community. 📉⚖️
