Kerala will be the first fully e-governed state from Thursday 25th May onwards. Kerala is a fully literate state, after it has reached a new milestone of becoming a fully digitalised state in India. Kerala has achieved this through the visionary policy initiatives by the government. This initiative will allow Kerala to deliver government services online. It has launched a system called e-Sevanam, on which there are 800 government services available online.
These digital services of the government will be available to all sections of society. Kerala has also declared access to the internet an important citizen's right. This e-governance includes all fields of health, education, property, land revenue, social security payouts etc. through various projects like eCourt, eDistrict, Digital Survey Mission etc.
This announcement will be made by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayam, tomorrow, 25th May.
