Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has promised that rapid industrialization will take place in Karnataka, as only that will make room for more employment opportunities. He announced this as he presented the first state budget of his CM tenure.
He reiterated this, in a state export excellence award, which was organized by the Department of Commerce and Industry at the Visuvesvaraya Trade Promotion Centre (VTPC).
He mentioned that " In the past, the industrial policy implemented by our government was appreciated by the industry fraternity. It was known to be the most progressive industrial policy. Our government will shortly discuss with industrialists and the exporters to bring out a new and progressive industrial policy".
This will initially be started in 2 to 3 s Cities in Karnataka, and will later be expanded across the State.
