The Israeli National Security Council has classified the recent explosion near Israel's embassy in New Delhi as a "potential act of terrorism." The occurrence took place on Tuesday (Dec 27) in the Chanakyapuri diplomatic enclave, resulting in no injuries but leading to a travel advisory for Israeli citizens in India.

In light of the potential threat, the council advises Israeli nationals to exercise caution and refrain from visiting crowded places, such as malls and markets. Furthermore, citizens are kindly urged to maintain vigilance while visiting places that specifically cater to Westerners, Jews, and Israelis.
The incident has been confirmed by Embassy spokesperson Guy Nir, who mentioned that the blast took place near the embassy at approximately 5:48 pm. The Delhi Police and security teams are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the situation, and fortunately, no casualties have been reported thus far.

Despite the diligent efforts of the Delhi Police, bomb disposal squads, and fire departments in conducting an extensive search operation, there have been no casualties reported.
