Drugs being the worst addiction, it has a growing impact on society. To eradicate this drug intake and the business of drugs, police are working at their best. As a result of this, police have opened up a drug racket in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, 13th June. They seized a larger amount of heroin, costing nearly a lakh rupees.
In this operation, police have arrested 9 smugglers from the Isham, Nambla and Uri areas. Along with that, they recovered 1.78 kg of drugs and cash of Rs. 69. 20 lakh.
This arrest of 9 smugglers within the product has impacted the narcotics trade in a particular region.
