Ministry of Educations' IInvenTiv'24 at IIT Hyderabad

IIT Hyderabad is set to host the second edition of the Ministry of Education's R&D Innovation Fair, IInvenTiv 2024, on January 19 and 20.

IInvenTiv 2024 serves as a platform to showcase the comprehensive impact of research and innovation by top higher education institutes, fostering collaboration among state universities, institutes, and industry for grassroots development.

Director B.S. Murty of IIT Hyderabad, alongside Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director of NIT Warangal, and P.J. Narayanan, Director of IIIT Hyderabad, shared with the media that this year's event will concentrate on five crucial domains.

This second edition will emphasize Affordable Healthcare, Agriculture & Food Processing, Sustainable Technologies (covering Climate Change, E-mobility, Clean Energy), Industry 4.0, and Defence and Space. These domains align with the diverse innovation landscape and are in accordance with the focus areas for Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) and Viksit Bharat (developed India).

IInvenTiv 2024 It will showcase 120 top projects from 53 institutions, including the 23 IITs, NITs, IISERs, IIITs, IISc Bangalore, and the top 50 NIRF-ranked engineering institutions in the country, they will present their work to academic and industry stakeholders. This will foster collaboration and aim for products fit for India and the global market, as highlighted by Dr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, the Steering Committee Chairman.

During the initial day of IInvenTiv-2024, industry participants will enjoy exclusive access to actively engage with cutting-edge innovations. Subsequently, on the following day, the event will open to the public, offering a unique opportunity for a broader audience to witness the latest breakthroughs in technology and research. Selected projects will be featured in designated booths during the event.

IIT Hyderabad extends a warm invitation to prominent industries to join IInvenTiv 2024, encouraging their participation in valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange. The event anticipates hosting over 2000 industry participants during the two-day event.
