Heatwave Alert: IMD issues severe heatwave alerts for several states for next 5 days

As the monsoon hit Kerala late this year, people were frustrated due to the heat in the atmosphere. But people may continue complaining about this temperature rise. The Indian Metrological Department issued a heatwave notice to many states on 14th June. There will be strong heatwaves in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal. IMD scientist Naresh Kumar said that, “temperatures will be very high in these states for the next five days.”

While other areas where a cyclone is active will have rainfall and extreme winds of 125km/h for the next two days.

Even before 12th June, temperatures in these states were quite high. But people are waiting for rain so desperately.
