Go First airline has announced on Sunday, July 23 through Twitter that company has suspended all the flights till July 25. Go First airlines has been prevented from flying since May 2 this year. Company has applied for immediate resolution of the matter and restoration of the operation.
In May 2023, Go First airline faced a major financial crisis after which it submitted a letter for bankruptcy before National Company Law Tribunal. It grounded all flights as there was a delay by engine manufacturer company Pratt & Whitney. Later in June NCLT appointed Shailendra Ajmera as Resolution Professional for Go First.
4,200 employees are working in Go First and it had revenue of ₹4,183 crore from operations. Company has said that it will resume the booking soon.
