Who is this Extradited Gangster Prasad Pujari?

Mumbai: After two decades on the run, the notorious gangster Prasad Pujari, once a trusted lieutenant of infamous crime lord Kumar Pillai, was finally apprehended and extradited from Hong Kong to face trials in Mumbai. Pujari, wanted in connection to a string of heinous crimes including murder, extortion, and kidnapping, had eluded authorities since fleeing Mumbai in 2005.

The Mumbai Crime Branch, tirelessly pursuing Pujari for the past 10 months, celebrated a major victory as they succeeded in bringing the fugitive back to Indian soil. With a staggering total of 20 cases registered against him, Pujari's reign of terror left a trail of bloodshed and fear in its wake.

During his years in hiding, Pujari allegedly married a Chinese woman and even had a child, utilizing every tactic to evade capture. However, his luck ran out when Interpol detained him in China last year, sparking a lengthy extradition process initiated by the Indian government.

One of the most chilling incidents linked to Pujari involves an attempted assassination on a Shiv Sena leader in Mumbai's Vikhroli area. Miraculously escaping unscathed, the leader narrowly avoided becoming another victim of Pujari's ruthless campaign of violence.
