Gangster Anil Dujana was killed in an encounter with the STF in Meerut

On Thursday afternoon, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) encountered and killed notorious gangster Anil Dujana in the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. Dujana, who hailed from Dujana village in Gautam Buddha Nagar district, was known for his criminal activities in several parts of Western Uttar Pradesh and operated an organised criminal syndicate. He was wanted in connection with 62 criminal cases, including 18 counts of murder, extortion, robbery, land grabbing, and eviction. Anil Dujana, whose real name was Anil Nagar, was killed in an encounter by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) in Jani village, Meerut. This operation is part of the crackdown against the mafia and gangsters in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The killing of Anil Dujana marks the second high-profile encounter by the UP STF, following the killing of Asad, the son of Atiq Ahmad, who was wanted for the murder of Umesh Pal in Jhansi.
