Former agriculture minister Vallabhbhai Vaghasiya died in a road accident on Thursday night, 18 May. He was travelling to Savarkundla in Amreli district, Gujarat in his car and on the state highway near Vanda village his car crashed into a bulldozer.
Vanda police station took charge of the case. They transferred Vaghasiya and another injured man to the hospital. There, a former minister was declared dead and another person is under treatment. The incident took place around 8:30 at night.
He was a minister in the Vijay Rupani government and served as an agriculture and housing minister. People will remember him for his commitment during his period.
