The Central Government recently approved the UP government's project of Lucknow's Kukrail zoo and India's first urban night safari. To encourage eco tourism and wildlife conservation, the UP government in August 2022 signed this proposal and then it went to Central Zoo authority. It took a lot of time to approve this proposal. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath thanked PM Modi and CZA for showing the green signal to the project.
This project will occupy a total of 2027 hectares of forest. If everything works smoothly, this plan will be made fully at the end of this year. This will be beneficial for India economically as well as naturally as it will help to maintain an ecosystem.
