A factory fire near Talwade village in Pune's slums has left ten injured and at least six dead. The fire officer at Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), Rishikant Chipade, said that the fire may have started because sparkling candles were being made illegally inside the complex.
At least 6 people lost their lives and eight others were injured in a fire that occurred on Friday at a dazzling candle manufacturing facility in Pune's Pimpri Chinchwad neighborhood.
Shekhar Singh, the municipal commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad, stated that the fire department responded quickly to the distress call, which was received at approximately 2.45 pm. The Talawade plant produced glittering candles, which are frequently used for birthday parties. They put out the fire. The reason is still unknown," Mr. Singh continued.
Hospitals in Pune and the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation region are now housing the injured victims. The cause of the fire is yet unknown as the community struggles to cope with this devastating event.
