On the third day of the 'Delhi Chalo' march, farmer leaders are scheduled to meet with Union Ministers Piyush Goyal, Arjun Munda, and Nityananad Rai in Chandigarh on Thursday, although the Punjab-Haryana border remains tense.
Earlier on Wednesday, while speaking with the media, the farmer leaders stated that the protestors at the Shambhu border were given two options: continue pressing for their demands or return to the table for further discussions. The Bharatiya Kisan Union-Ugrahan (BKU-Ugrahan) is going to block the railway tracks in Punjab today in solidarity with the farmers marching towards Delhi, in addition to the protests at the Punjab-Haryana borders.
