Early on Friday, Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, experienced three consecutive earthquakes within just 30 minutes. The first earthquake, measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale, struck around 4:10 am, leading people to quickly leave their homes. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), Jaipur was hit by a series of earthquakes, with magnitudes of 4.4, 3.1, and 3.4 respectively.
The second earthquake, measuring 3.1 in magnitude, hit Jaipur, Rajasthan's capital, at 4:22 am, followed by a third one of 3.4 magnitude at 4:25 am. The earthquake's depth was recorded at 10 kilometres. There have been no reports of injuries or property damage as of yet.
According to the National Center for Seismology, tremors were also felt in violence-hit Manipur on Thursday night. According to news reports, an earthquake occurred late at night in Manipur's Ukhrul. The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 3.5 on the Richter scale. As of now, there is no news of any loss of life or property due to the earthquake.
